Church Groups

Every member of our church is involved.

Church Groups

  Children & Youth... We plan events, fellowship times, Vacation Bible School for our children and youth.  We meet as often as needed.

  Core Team (Staff)... We are your Office team, made up of the paid staff providing leadership and training for the ministries and mission of your church.  We meet weekly to plan, coordinate, and schedule.

  Education Team... We plan Sunday School for our children and youth, providing leadership training, curriculum, and equipment.

  Finance Team... We help plan the budget, monitor expenses, and generate ideas to support our ministries.

  Stewardship Team...  We develop opportunities, information and training to assist our members in becoming better stewards of our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our talents.

  Trustee Team...  We are the legal representatives for our Weslaco First United Methodist Church.  We are responsible for developing, maintaining, insuring and replacement of the physical assets of this church.

   Worship Team...  We assist the Pastors in planning, enhancing the presentation of leading of worship.  We work on decor to emphasize the themes and a welcoming, inviting atmosphere for all who gather for worship with us.

  Leadership Team (Board)...  We are the official decision making body of our church, Weslaco First United Methodist Church.  We are charged with providing leadership and resources to maintain the vision, mission and ministry of our Weslaco First United Methodist Church.  Our Board is comprised of leaders of the various ministry and administrative teams.
